Finding the MAC Address for iOS Devices
Purpose of this Document
The MAC (media access control) address will be required when submitting a support request for problems with your iOS device (iPad or iPhone). This is a 12-character alphanumeric code.
The MAC address can only be obtained through the device settings.
Procedure
To locate the MAC Address of your iPad or iPhone, follow these steps:
- From the main screen of your phone, tap Settings.
2. Select About.
3. Once in the About screen, you will see the 16-character alphanumeric MAC address of your iOS device displayed. Document this address for input into your support ticket.
